How It Works
With a simple connection to the existing sprinkler timer, the ECO 100 Sprinkler Optimizer will assume control and automatically determine when the landscape needs watering.  The way in which the ECO 100 is connected is depicted below:

Once the above connections and a few simple data setup steps are complete, the ECO 100 automatically performs the operations depicted in the following diagram each and every day:
  1. Measure Climate Conditions.  The ECO 100 measures changing climate conditions, including temperature, solar radiation, and (optionally) rain conditions.
  2. Analyze Climate and Water History.  The ECO 100 takes into account the most recent watering history along with the current climate conditions to analyze watering needs.
  3. Adjust Watering Schedule.  The ECO 100 adjusts the future watering schedule based on climate and water history analysis.
  4. Water Per Update Schedule.  The ECO 100 allows or disallows watering from your existing sprinkler clock/timer thus applying only the water needed by your landscape... no more... no less.
